Just got back from the junkyard. I found two guage clusters with tachs. One is from a B2600i and the other is from a B something, carb was on the left side of the engine. I pulled them both thinking surely one of them will work in my truck, and sell the other one.
Which one will work with my 2.2 auto trans? What's needed for the tach since my computer is gone?

i think when i did mine the plug just went right in. oh yeah, the speedo cable hasta be moved over too. be careful, its a PITA! but it should work just fine. mines an 89 b22 and i got a cluster from an 87 b2000 and it worked so you shouldn't have a prob. the comp in the kickpanel is mainly for the EGR crap that the weber gits rid of.
oh my god am i bein useful?!

Useful? Hell yeah your useful. You guys on here know more about these Mazdas then I do. Oh I also got a bigger electric fan. I did the fan conversion and the one I used was too small. I was running a 13" Now I have a 16" Cavalier fan on, it pulls the temp guage down fast.
It doesn't matter that one truck was FI and I'm carbed? The FI cluster's miles are closer to mine then the carbed cluster.
If my buddy doesn't want the extra cluster, then one of them will be for sale. I should know by tonight if he wants it.

I've never taken one apart, but, ya might wanna check if ya can switch out the odometer, and keep your original miles

I cleaned up one of the clusters and sold it to a friend that has a mazda. The other one the part the speedo cable attaches to was broken and the tach lans (numbers are printed on it) is cracked, so no spiffy cluster for me. I like my aftermarket mini tach any ways. Oh well, crap happens.
