I gotta look at hoses and junk....I think thats causing my idling issue and I am fairly certain its causing my rich run mode.....my truck stinks...literally....it dumps THAT MUCH fuel....i wonder what my mileage will shoot up too....since I gained about 30 miles a tank so far with repairs.....got my best at 280/90 miles for a change....I was getting 225/40 before.....

Thanks tweaker...its helpful write up and could lead people to do some checking first before just throwing money at a problem....always good to have info.

I have a related question... will I pass without the EGR valve? I took all my emissions crap out for the weber and pacesetter. I am wondering if I will pass emissions in the future. I have the charcoal canister and catalytic converter in.

I have hear that it might have something to do with the catalytic converter not working well. Don't know just hear from a co-worker when i was worried about not passing emissions inspection as well.

pretty big difference when you have a part of the emissions that isn't functioning properly... thanks again jonathan for the help...

Good work guys! Will have to work with Rob & AJ to get this in the techy section. Good info for those with and without a Weber carb. Would be interesting to see some emission info from a Weber/egr truck and a Weber/no egr truck. Might be able to help with the second one.

Again, thank you Jonathan for your very knowledgeable contributions to this forum!!!
