ooh... ok so I'm going to pull it. so when i turn it on the highest setting the idle changes. I will put a direct 12volts to the fan to see if it works. i'll touch back in tomorrow. thanks for the info, should help alot

its the resistor..i've done COUNTLESS numbers of them.....just pull it and look at the springs...your dashlight problem is the dimmer switch..easy change!..i've ran into this soooooooooooooooooo many times!

just make sure your blower motor isn't locked up and you should be ok!
