I can tell you that I have a 20x8.5 wheel with 6.32 in backspacing, thats with 4x4 sheet metal. If you have 2wd sheet metal they will not fit, with out some type of modification to the suspension. I know most people when doing the toyota conversion run with a 7 or 7.5 wide wheel. So if you run an 8 inch wide wheel you probably will need a aleast 6 or 6.5 wide wheel. Hope that helps, maybe someone will jump in that has a 8 inch wide wheel. Also how low do you plan on going and are you bodydropped?

I am not sure what change the yota conversion will have with regards to widening or narrowing your suspension, (from my memory nothing) but I can tell you from experience that if you are gonna BD to the pinch with 2 wheel drive sheet metal (my truck has that although I got rid of the pinch) you with an 8 wide rim you need a +45 to +51 offset if you want it tuck cleanly. Dont forget if you run dropped spindles that will change. What are you going to do in the back?

so if i get 6 inches of backspacing i should be alright.

i am gonna run a narrowed tacoma rear with 20x10s; it should have a killer stance.

thanks

Nothing on the front, but when you do the rear its narrower.
