i would agree with you on your truck todd, but if hes foggin out the neighborhood im not sure if his is clearing up
still smokes when warm, let it run for 15min today and no change
how many miles are on it?
do a wet tests on it see if your #'2 come up..kinda sounds like rings if the smoke isnt going away
does it smell sweet? if it does then its coolant. otherwise the carb may be running rich and it will smoke like that untill ya rejet it. honestly i would swap to a weber carb.
what color smoke is it? heres my understanding of exhaust smoke and what they mean:
white - water or antifreeze entering the cylinder
blue - oil entering the cylinder
black - excess fuel running rich
Todd seems like my truck is acting similar i having the same problem with the smoke when i start it up in the morning after its fine..what do you plan on doing with the fuel ???
some one poped the plug on the carb to try to adjust it ..prolly just gonna swap to a weber
