Question!!

People say when you put on a weber you can get rid of the computer...I not sure that I can ( i have a automatic if this helps). The harness that goes into the cab for all the emmission, well when it goes in it has the wiper wires and something else cause some of the wires coming from the computer go to a plug behind the glove box by the firewall with the wiper wires. Anybody have a clue what these are? I can't find my haynes manual to track them down. Probably have to go buy another manual. Anyway hope somebody has a answer. Thanks in advance.....

all the computer does is read the o2 sensor and adjust the mixture accordingly.u can get rid of it or just unplug it and leave it where it is (passenger side kick panel.I just left mine plugged up when I went weber/headers and even left mu o2 sensor in place just in case I need to go back stock.wipers are actuated by the master control unit on the steering column.I dont think they interface with the computer at all.bj
