Scrap Titled is completely different then Salvage Titled . Scrap cannot ever be titled . The Yard I purchased from is a Registered Used Auto Dealer and Wrecking Yard . The Title is clean with Vin Search , they said that they could get title by filing lien/Mechanics lien , but really did not seem enthused about having to . The DMV will not give past owner name unless you are a Dealer,Law enforcement or court order approved . I will just go back again and bug them and maybe they will just ask for a few dollars more and file for Lost Title since they are a Dealer and after reading online more today they legally can file for that . Thanks for the suggestion though .

Guess one last shot at going back to the Wrecking Yard to convince them to file for Replacement Title . If not I guess this will be a parts truck and will purchase another , sucks but may be best since I do not want a Salvaged title for Insurance purposes . With Salvage if totaled they will not pay a thing for the truck even Full Show

in washington you can get the old registered owners name and address by filling out a form and paying 10 bucks

After talking with a Titling service today , they will file for an abandoned title and if anybody (meaning past owner before wrecking yard) contests it , I will have had a few months of storage charges built up . Cost is $300 . For .50 cents I am going to get previous owners name first from State of Florida DMV , if Wrecking yard chooses not to disclose that . After that I will pay the 300 for Title . Thanks for all the input , in the end the 300 will turn out cheaper
