How should I flip my ball joints???

I'm using the toyota spindles and as you can see in the pic, they are made differently... obviously. But the upper "mount" is similar and the tie rod side is similar but the lower "mount" is alot different. So when I flip my ball joint, I'm gonna litertally have to flip em over. Do you think I should put em on the top or bottom side of the arm???

BTW, the toyota spindle is on the left

on the bottom i would think it would have more support that way!!!! just my thoughts take it or leave it

When you flip the balljoint, you move it to the top of the control arm like in the 2nd pic. Its not an actually flipping of the balljoint, just moving it from the bottom to the top.

Ya, thats how you do it for mazda spindles... mine are toyota, you see how much farther up the toyota mount is?? I put the ball joint on the bottom side of the arm for now, I may put it on the top side but I dont know if it'd help... I guess I'd get more clearance out of the lower arm.... HMM.... which I need lil more clearance to have the wheel higher than the frame...

if you put it on the top side itll be less work to make it lay

COOL, i'll def do that then, i'm workin on cuttin everything out on the passenger side now, so when I go back to do more work on the driver side, i'll put it on the top side
