I'm trying to do a couple things to my truck. My first problem is going around the curve of my arm rest without wrinkles. Just can't get it right. Is there some trick to it? And what is the best vinyl dye or stain? I figured too light is easier to fix than too dark. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Typically, Youre suppose to steam and stretch, Without a steamer though yours kinda sol, What I would try, is get an iron with the lil steamer thingy at the end, and use it, Be careful to not burn yourself! But steam and stretch is the trick, Nice interior, WHats that center console out of?

Thanks. I'll try some more steam. The console is from a Ford Tempo. Not sure what year.

Yea, Most upholstry shops have like this vacuum lookin thing that just emits tons of steam and then they jus stretch the shit out of it, Dont be afraid to pull hard!

everytime i stretch material i always try to use a heat gun or steamer ,that peice shouldnt be a problem with heat ,if you dont have it just order 3 way stretch vinyl from yourautotrim.com ,works very good on applications like that just be sure to use adhesive too guarantee it will work easily
