how old are you and where do you work?

i'm 26 and work changin tires all day. only $300 a week but when i come home at nite i'm actually in a good mood.

my old job i made bout $13/hr. and hated every minute of it. nothin physical, just stand and push buttons. now i'm slingin tires all day and havin fun. small town shop but its worth it.

Im 43 and Ive been in the minitruckin' scene since 87. I work at a place that builds armored SUVs, cars and SWAT vehicles. Most of our stuff goes overseas and we cant take pictures of it. Im currently the fab shop supervisor. I make sure the frames and rear boxes get built for the SWAT vehicles as well as make any jigs, fixtures or specialty equipment that the shop needs. I also install any fixtures inside vehicles.

Ive had two main Mazdas, and several parts trucks. one was the first ever Mazda B200 limo built in 88, it was 27 ft long, tandem axle, rear suicide doors and I drove it every day to work for 10 years. I then built a Mazda B series roadster with no roof or doors, right hand drive and a chevy V-8. On the cover of MT in November of 2002.

I currently have a shop where I build control arms, 2,3,4,5 and 6 links, watts links and other air ride parts on the side, as in evenings and all weekend. It gets old but I love it.

Im 22 and work at Forest River Inc. in Dallas, OR. I work on the production line. We manufacture fifth wheel trailer, travel trailers, and cargo trailers. And yes even with how the econonmy is we are still workin. I have worked at this job since I graduated high school. Graduated on a Saturday in 2005 and started that next Monday.

28....My Father and I own a Franchise Radio Shack. He's owned it since 82, I joined about 6 years ago.
