Help?!?! I need new gears for rearend!

I've googled, yahoo, been to 3 different mazda sites n I can not find ne thing about lower number-higher gear sets 4 my 87 b2200. I need to get rid of the 4.10 for sumthin more pratical on the highway, mayb like a 3.42 or even 3.23. i would like to keep the mazda rearend because of airbag setup and 17" wheels that i have already bought. Im not worried about the 4cyl turning a higer gear cause the truck now has a 302 and auto tranny. I was running an aod tranny and wuz unhappy with its performance and im replacing it with a c4 or c6. Please help???!!!

That would b awesome. I've never found spec on factory mazda rearends. If u could tell me wut spec mazda truck 2 look for it would b helpful, i.e. 2wd longbed, 4wd extcab, b2600. N thanks for checkin yours for me. Im willin to order one from summit racing or jegs or ne aftermarket company new if need b I just havent had luck findin ne availible.

i read somewhere that there a 3.89 rear. i'll trade ya my rear for your 4.10 rear lol.

I appreciate the help wid the 5spd info, n i thought about that when i had the 4cyl. But im running a 302 v8 and an auto tranny.

Its safe to say that when i reached the T-intersection between drag racing and show trucks i ran straight off into the woods down the middle with this truck and im finding it harder than i expected or can afford rite now to have the best of both worlds- Driveability and Performance
