it's the lovely sunday project..that i didn't wanna do!!

truck started to make a very familiar howling sound last night...soooo..definately knew what to do even though i didn't want too...had to pirate the bed off my truck for a customer truck anyway..sooo..new meatball number FOUR!!! today!!!...check it out.....see if you can spot what isn't quite right with my 93 B26i...hehe..it's kinda like where's waldo..lets see who can figure it out!

That was a pretty easy Where's Waldo! Looks like Waldo got a couple teeth knocked out.

nah..that's not it..lol..the rear was done but being that my truck is a 26 it's missing stuff...(not the bed!...HAHA)

if i remember correctly my 26i had another cross member on the back half....

Looks like Waldo be missing a few teeth on the old spider gear. Amazing to me how sought after these rear axels are on the lowrider circuit (strongest axel available for it's size for car dancers), and yet can't handle much torque. Oh well, best of luck on the repairs.

4wd truck with 2wd sheetmetal don't see that every day

haha..i will just give it to ya....i got a 93 26i with an 86' B2000 rear..got rid of the abs..i have a ton of 2.0 and 2.2 rears and when i bought the 26 the only rust it had was on the diff cap...so i swapped it out with a 2.0 longbed rear...and have done as of today four meatballs in it..(i had a drifting problem..lol)..but i learned the hard way that a 2.6 rear is a whole lot different than a 2.2 0r 2.0 rear...i got them down to a science...can do a meatball with bleeding the brakes and diff fluid in less than an hour and half...i've done too many for myself and my buddies

that sheetmetal is only temporary on my truck.....i got some tricks up my sleeve happening on another 4by bed...i needed my two by bed for a customers truck.we restore alot of mazdas and then sell them only if they have good frames..the 4x4 frame was mint..but they almost never leave with the sheet metal..usually the bed floors are tired and when we sell them we try to make them as nice as possible so we swap 2by beds that are nice on them sometimes.this time my red one came off....
