maybe some one else can post a pic because with my sloooow dial up conection it takes forever to upload pics but it has two rubber hoses runing to it if the truck is fuel injected it will have an elctric pump in the tank for sure but if it is a carb truck you may have a mechanical pump

I dont think its fuel injected, if i have a mechanical pump, then i dont need a external one right

you are correct there you should see it fairly easy if it has a mechanical pump it sticks off the side of the head kinda like a sore thumb i have a 89 se 5 and it is carbed with a mechanical but i don't know a whole lot about the other year models i seem to remember some other guys on this site talking about the latter model carb trucks havining in tank electric pumps though so you will just have to take a peek at it in the morning hopefully yours will be mechanical so that your swap will be easier and cheaper hope i was able to help ya out man

wouldn't the easiest way to tell be: Carbed big round air cleaner, Injected intake pipe leading to filter box

then i got a carbed. Then that means i DONT need a external fuel pump! haha right?

ok...well..if you have a B2200i which is injected the pump is in the tank...also even if you truck has a carb if it's an automatic the pump will be in the tank as well...all the carburated stick trucks from 86' thru 93' have a mechanical pump on the passenger side rear of the head.....also an easy way to tell is if you have seen your fuel sender ...a in tank will have four to six wires and a mechanical will only have one plug off the sender with two wires a yellow and a black.....hope it helps
