parking lights???

ok i did everything like u said but it didnt work, i could feel the relay blink but the lights wouldnt blink........ now the blinkers wont work at all but the hazards do

let me grab a relay and try it, give me a while but I'll have it tonight.

If you followed my steps it should have done it

you have constant 12v in terminal 30 when the key is on right?

keyswitch power to terminal 30

body ground to terminal 85

positive wire from turn signal terminal 86

positive wire GOING to corner light terminal 87

make sure you have a 5 pin relay


I have a working model in front of me timing is close on the flash though.

much better result when the corner light is still used as corner

i got a bigger problem, neiter one of my turns work anymore! =( wtf! my hazards work but the turns dont, they dont blink inside the cab or out

well they are back to how i had them (both blinkin at the same time)

okay did mine

green wire spliced from turn signal is in terminal 86

terminal 85 is ground

terminal 30 is my power in from red wire on corner light (truck side)

terminal 87a is red wire going to the corner light

now I switched 87a to 87 to get what your looking for and it blinks almost exact same time.

so it may take two relays per side to achieve what your wanting to do.

after racking my brain and trying to come up with the best solution to get flip-flops with no corner light as parking light would be:



in the steering wheel column plastic you can tap in to the power for each side when it's turned for left or right. this would activate power to the relay make it flash opposite, and go off when blinker was off.



so wiring would go as follows

terminal 85 ground

terminal 86 spliced green wire from turn signal

terminal 87a red wire going to corner light

terminal 30 hot wire splice from left or right turn from turn signal switch

I would also bump up the turn signal fuse 5-10 amps

if that doesn't get the results for ya I give up
