k well what would happen if i just turned the torsion bolt with out re indexing? just curious...

it will end up low on the ground and may scrap on stuff.

when re-index it puts em back up but still truck being low !

I had 2" drop spindles and I just cranked my bars down. I removed the lower front bumpstop,but kept the top,which it ended up bottoming out on.

Just keep turning them until it looks low enough for your liking.

Somebody had a bad ass thread on here a little while back I just can't find. Talked about puttin the overload sprin on top of the main spring little bit rough ride and definately no load baring but it will get it down there.

i like how the ride is when u dearch the leaf springs, its smoother IMO

True,but most people are too cheap or lazy to get it done like that,which is the proper and safer way.

On my next truck,I am definetly going with dearched leafs.

well i go to mexico and get it done for about 30 bucks, but if they have to replace the u bolts they charge 10 bucks for each u bolt
