I have the Protocol PPPKL8 door popper kit with the 50 lbs door poppers. I am having a heck of time trying to find where to mount the selenoid in the door, because it is so frickin big. I'm tryin to avoid redesigning my door panels. I plan on doing them in fiberglass anyways, but I don't want a big frickin hump stickin out for the selenoid. If any one has some suggestions that would help dearly.

um.... why would you need a hump for the solenoid???

You mount the solenoid INSIDE the door. I mounted mine on the bottom side of the inside of the door and mounted a pulley and ran the cable through the pulley up to the latch.... here's pics. You def do NOT need to redesign door panels jus to have shaved doors....

I have the same kit mounted mine straight up and down in the corner with a direct pull on the latch. used one of the holes the door panel pops into and drilled 3 more then made some plastic bushings to space it right so the window doesn't hit when it's all the way down.
