you think? that really isn't much damage at all. that's like saying they'd total it for a cracked windshield. but hey $150 from the lady isn't bad I guess.

I have a story about getting hit. Way back in the land before time when dinosaurs roamed the land and we chiseled our billet wheels out of rock and we used T-rex bladders for airbags, I shaved my dawg and painted it yellow. (ok it wasn't quite that long ago but it feels like it. 1995) So I had shaved everything but my gas door. A few days later my freshly shaved and painted dawg is sitting out in front of my work. I am sitting there admiring it when it hits me like a pimpslap....I should have shaved my gas door. It looked crappy, everything else so smooth awash in a sea of bright 75 vette yellow and then BONK! Standing out liek a sore thumb there is the gas door. I was pissed. Well lo and behold about a month later I am sitting at a stop light and I happen to look in my rear view mirror and I see the 76 Celica heading my way and not slowing down. He hit me doing 35 to 40 ish. He never even put on his brakes! Rearended me and pushed me into the car in front of me Double whiplash and damage to the front and back.
And you know what my first thought was?
"COOL NOW I CAN SHAVE MY GAS DOOR!"
That is why God let's accidents happen to minitruckers...so you can shave your gas door. SO get on with it...
