Knowing where most of you live this is probably a dumb question, but was just wondering if any BSceners were going to ITB this year?
i got turned away back in 06 after 2 years of going. It was the only show ive been to that was put on by a promotional company and it showed In 05 i went with shawn and we took plane jane, we were supposed to park in the lowlife video booth. Mike left our passes at the booth but they wouldnt give them up even after we showed our IDs and the truck, basicly mike had to come to the booth and hand them to us. Then we STILL had to pay the entry fee for 1 truck and 2 people. Then in 06 I entered an under construction ride that was a customers and they almost didnt let me in. Said i needed the title and insurance for the truck, long story short they accepted my duallys title and ins so i got that out of the way, then i had to sign waivers incase i got hurt at the show, then i couldnt even take the truck in till after 6pm (but show closed at 6) Basicly had to just run through the gates cause nobody could give me a straight answer, got hassled about being there after 6 eventho it was the only time i could be there. Then i had to wait an hour after awards to go get it back out. Not to mention the steep entry fee, no cruising rules, and concessions raping you i guess it was a good show. Alot of rides show up but IMO its not worth the 9hr drive for me.
Its my local show. I attend every year. If someone wants to meet up, Just pm me.
Guilty - Sorry to hear about the problems. Have been to the show the last 2 years and have to admit last year was the most fun I've had at an out of town car show in years. Bunch of cruzin at the show then the hotel parties were an absolut blast.
Hungry, you gonna be showing anything? Eitherway, would like to meet a few BSceners whenever i get the chance.
I will be there, i went last year and loved it!!
my mazda will not be finised in time tho... oh well next year. i will be coming from minnesota.
hope to see you guys there!! are you bringing your mazdas?
my truck will be there, but its not a show truck. Its just cheaper to register to show than it is to buy 3 days of passes.
^Agreed on the $40!!!! Will be bringing the daughters truck this time (assuming she gets everything done )
Im sure i would have more fun if it wasnt such a task for me to go but when you spend all the money in gas and a day off work to go and its nothing but hassle i just see no reason in going back soon. If i go again ill just be hitching a ride with a friend.
