Cadillac wheels?

Well, I just bought a pair of chrome eskie's In mint condition for a $100. My question is that can I run 225's on them, and also if I can will they tuck? My truck is bagged and the inside lip of the bed is cut for extra clearance. I found a guy that wants to get rid of 6 225-45-17's for 60 bucks.

yes they will tuck and yes you can run those tires as long as your front inner fender wells are cut out.... unless you only want a drop like my sig pic which is the tire touching the inner fender well...im runnin 215/45/17s

sounds like you're all set then.

those tires will be a good size and give you a good ride.

I had 205/50/17s and 205/40/17s on mine and the 40s handled way better and the truck sat nice, but the 50s gave a better ride at the expense of handling and ride height.

You're at a good compromise with the 225/45s.

Just watch out if you have drop spindles on your truck, due to the offset of the rims, they will be pushed out further and you may rub. I had major rubbing issues with my eskies and drop spindles,so I had to run a lower profile tire and even add 4x4 fenders with a cut out inside lip for extra clearance.

oh,also be aware you need the centres of the rims bored to about 3 3/8" if I remember correctly,as to clear the Mazda hubs,or simply grind off the tabs on your hubs and get some hubcentric lugs.
