Well wouldn't luck just have it today...

My car craps out on me...$85 tow bill...$214 repair bill. Running again,but the head gaskets are blown and it's a $2500 repair if I do it. Which I won't do.

Anyways,the good news...I get home after a shitty expensive day and my step dad walks in the door with the bill of sale for a 2008 Mazda B4000. Throws me the keys to his 2002 B4000 4x4 and says "it's all yours come Thursday."

So...as of Thursday, I'm the new owner of a 2002 B4000 4x4.


She's got the 4.0L V6, 5 spd, 4WD, AC,tilt,cruise,slider window,tonneau cover,bedliner and a class 2 hitch. Did I mention it also has 380 000km on the original engine and tranny. Yeah. He bought it brand new in '02 and has just done commuter highway miles with it all it's life.

Now it's been passed on to me and it's the perfect little daily work truck I've been after. It's in fantastic shape for the milage. The paint is peeling in some spots and there's a couple small rust scabs forming,but it's never been abused.

Starting next week I can begin using it for work and pleasure while I work on trying to get rid of the Caddy.

So,she's no 86-93, but it's the best I can do for now.

Can't complain about a free truck. The caddy is still drivable,I just use about 4L of coolant a day.

Hey man I have an 01 B-3000 Ex cab Dual Sport for a daily. I love it. Tows decent for a small pickup... It will tow an 86 to 93 dawg!!! Congrats on the new ride.

hey uhh... i'll take the caddy. if its cheap lol. my g/f needs a daily and i got plenty of time and resources to do headgaskets.

Congrats on the Mazda!!! Now you will just have to figure out a way to convert the caddy trunk into a water tank LOL.

yeah,the caddy was nice while it lasted. Actually,this weekend I just took 2nd place in class 2 SPL comp at 140.7db. I think that's part of the reason why my battery fried today.

sweet truck man, time to put a lift kit in it lol, i wokr on those things all the time there good trucks, i was thinking about buying one for a daily, just need to find out how the gas milage is
