Tire Selection Help

Ok, so I got those new 18" Escalades which are 18X8 and i'm running drop spindles which kick it out a little bit. I need to know what tire would be best fitted for me. 205/40/18 or 215/40/18? I don't wanna go 35 series as it looks too small.I'm more concerned about the balloon effect i'm going to have. I wanna save as much space width wise as possible without making it look ridiculous . Any suggestions peeps?

205 is obviously narrower and your sidewall wont balloon as much. Being the smaller tire,I would opt for those,and cut out your inside fender lip like I did,or roll the lip.

I'd go with the 215/40R18, I think a 205 would be too narrow for an 8" wide wheel.

a 215/35/18 will work just fine it will fit the wheel nicely and you will have a fair amount of sidewall

danm bro what did I tell you 215 will be to much you are going to be running close to the edge when the chrome is back on. If you run 205 40 18 you will be only 1 inch taller than you are now and if you run a 205 35 18 you will be exactly the same size.
