Next question motor tranny? some thing cheap but diffrent? Dont really what a v8 but......... I would like a automatic tranny so my wife can drive it.

2.3 turbo out of a mid 80's t-bird/ svo mustang or merkur. plenty of power and lots of donors available. (plus good mileage to boot)

13B. Theres some on ebay right now for 1300 complete with auto tranny and all wiring n such.

I wish i could do a 13B but I am building this truck on a small budget. My goal is to build a cruise worthy BD and bagged truck for under $3500 (including the price of the truck).
