I WOULD KILL FOR $300 RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is an ad in the auto parts section out of the local IWANNA...

"1984 Mazda B2000 has a 1993 626 Turbo Swap motor, is rigged, needs new turbo and all the plumbing, motor ran, only turns over, won't start. $300.00"

I am seriously pissed, all the good deals come around when I'm totally broke (always broke ). This would be a perfect project for me to fix in the downtime I have til I get my license in July.

Who else thinks this is a good deal? Bad turbo or not?

Haha. I'm gonna try to get some money up. This is too good to pass up. Even if i end up ditching to motor.

I would call on the ad and ask if you can work anything out. If it's possible see if they will let you do small payments with them keeping possession of it (with it in writing of course). Or maybe there is something you can do for them to get it. I have fixed rigs for people to get a rig out of them, and even done paint and body in trade for a rig.

Yeah I'm gonna call tomorrow. I don't think it'll get snatched up so fast just because of the bad turbo. Everyone is afraid of turbos, especially bad ones.

but if it ran, and won't start now that wouldn't instantly mean it was the turbo anyways.

I'm almost positive it's not the turbo thats bad. Might be some silly sensor or a broken apc/bpc valve, or even a malfunctioning wastegate.

If I can get up $300 bucks... it's mine.

I called about it and am so close to getting this truck I can already see it in my driveway... if I had the cash it would be already. But the seller and I are working out a deal.
