I bought some window etching paste like stuff before from a craft store. I just used a vilnyl decal, brushed the paste stuff on, let it sit ( it said to let it sit for x amount of time but I tripled the time so it would etch deeper) washed off the paste and removed the decal. I dont remember what it was called though.
BJ - have done a LOT glass engraving with the Dremel and diamond bits but very little with a sand blaster. Know Eastwood Companies has an air brushed sized sand blaster with appropriate media for glass. A simple technique for layout is to print out your design and tape it to the inside of the window then trace. If you have any other questions, PM me.
