what size fuse for viair 480?

stupid question but what size fuse do i run to the compressor? if it has a 19 amp draw shouldn't i run a 20 amp fuse? i am running 10 amp fuses and i keep blowing them and can not figure out why. i think they are to small. but don't want to f up the compressor with a fuse that is to big. thanks.

I just did a quick search on s10forum and all the people I saw using 480s were using a 40 amp fuse.

that must be for both running to 1 fuse. combined is 38 so that would make sense. i am running mine seperate so if for some reason 1 fuse blows i still have another compressor to get me home.

I have a 40 AMP Fuse for both....8 AWG to a dist block then 10awg to the compressors...
