I need help with a few things! i just bought my B and i need to replace the carb and i heard the Weber 32/36 is the best for the b2200? is that right?
And what other simple things can i do to help better the performance?
Thanks, Zack
The weber is a very good carb, as for other performance, not much but hey it comes stock with like 83 HP so what do you expect.
after market headder but its still gonna be a2200 so dont expect to much
hocBJ has done a lot to his and has like 125 or 127hp or something like that.... but like todd said its still a b2200 - its not a race car
So true,so true.even with all my mods my 75 year old next door neighbor can beat me off the line with her John Deere mower. The humility of it all.Lol.BJ
bump.Better ignition helps, header as mentioned above helps,K&N or similar air filter helps, set timing up a notch helps, but it is still a 2200.bj
What good does an ignition do for performance, also if you are going to get an air filter don't get k and n they let in more dirt and what not than almost any other filter.
Kickin...A good ignition has everything to do with performance. A clean hot spark burns more efficently, gets better fuel economy and more horsepower/ torque. Also a properly maintained K&N air filter actually flows more air and cleans it better than a stock paper element. My sand rail had a pair of them and although I did need to oil/clean them occasionally, I could take them off and the entrance to the carbs looked brand new. This is AFTER 23,000 miles running through the CA desert. I guess I am just a believer in K&N. LOL
Im a believer in K&N too. Been running them in my quads and have had no issues. Just need to clean them and keep em oiled up.
performance wise.... motor swap
