well, honestly, i had bags over axle and everyone says it rides rouch but i disagree i was very happy with it, long as you still have shocks, you get more lift with bags on bars though, depends on the look your going for..

will probably go on bars.just need to know how long and what i need to mount em

The bars can be whatever length you want. The longer the bars the better because it will give you less pinion angle change. Just decide where you want your crossmember to be and that will get you a length.
