pointless thread

I know what you mean , but I never really understood how the whole "thread whore" concept got started. A whore is someone who gets money for sex...or more recently someone who has no morals or will sleep with anyone. Wouldn't it be more appropriate to call it "thread hogging" or "thread glutony" ...btw is whole post is completly pointless and I think I posted it in the right place. Thread Whore!
