im on dsl it isn't that bad cable service around here blows for internet always losing there connection.

Hey Lofosho....Take cover bro!!! I am guessing that you are a couple of hours away from getting tagged by a killer storm. I know from contact with family back in SW MO that a few of our family friends have lost their houses and we are still waiting to hear how bad my father-in-laws farm/ house got hit. We have no contact with them only my bro-in-law who is haveing to work his way through their driveway.

For any of you who have gone through this or are going to be going through it...stay safe.

Huh. I have comcast digital cable internet. Fast as hell!!!! It says about 12Mps I have no idea what that means. But I do know I can download an attachment that is 10meg in about 15 seconds or less. Oh yeah that is with Autocad, internet, outlook (different email account), photoshop, and a couple of other programs running at the same time.

im also on comcast digital cable.... around 11.5-12.5 mps can download a song in around 20 seconds... average song size is 4-5mb... click on a link and as long as their server is up and running without problems it only take a second or 2 to load the page

Word that is the biggest issue I run into...others servers are too damn slow. LOL The high speed also pairs well with my laptop. This is a link to the type I got.


I have a dual 120gig harddrives, centrino duo 7600, 4 gig memory..... Pretty much go through and pick the best addons and there you have it.

I build computers for a living I hate Intel lol, Over priced and shitty product compared to AMD, I have an alright computer, 4 gb of Kingston dual channel Ram. AMD 4800+ processor. Its alright and a western digital 250gb HD, a 7200rpm hd not a 5200.
