Don't take the torsions out. Take out or cut your BOTTOM bumpstops on the lower control arm and just crank the bars down a bit.
You don't want the front too low, otherwise you will catch it on everything, and even with monoleafs and 3" blocks, your rear end will sit way higher than the front if you're all the way down in the front. I used to drag my frame and exhaust pulling into driveways and over speedbumps. I'd even bottom out on the road sometimes...that's how my gas tank got punctured.
If you take the torsions out, you'll be constantly bottomed out and it will ride like an old jaolopy with octagonal wheels.
Here's mine with Toxic shocks, 2" spindles and the bars turned only a little bit with 205/40/17s. If this pic is anything to go by,my truck won 2nd Place for lowest static drop at the Truck Nationals last summer.
With the Spindles, they will push your wheels out a little bit,so due to the offset of the Escalade rims,I had major rubbing issues, hence the 4x4 fenders being used. And they still rubbed at full lock,or if there were 2 people in the truck. You want to keep your torsions in to give yourself the adjustability to fine tune your ride height and have a compliant ride. With them out, cracks in the road will feel like speedbumps.
By the way,you need a 17" rim or larger for the spindles to work. You're probably going to have to grind down the bottom of your spindle to clear the inside of your rim.
