Watts links are great, just take a bit of work to setup right.
def stay away from any bars that face the rear. i have a 50/50 and do not like it. when i get taxes back i will be getting a new 4 link from dev and mount the bags over the bars. a bag over bar setup in my opinion is the best way to go. smoother ride and more lift. just my opinion though.
you don't need a panhard or watts if you run a triangulated 4link or a wishbone setup...
The drawback to running a triangulated setup is that the bushings take a pounding and especially if you angle the bushings.
When the bushingsb are inline they tend to wear less, but they also allow more side to side movement than angling them.
But angling them wears the edges prematurely.
The watts works well with bags and especially if you make the bars go all the way across the center and make the center crank bar angled. this allows for more up and down travel of the watts without the side to side that happens at the very top and very bottom of a watts travel pattern.
Many new cars have watts links because it allows for more room under the floor. The mfr doesnt have to run angled link bars under the floor and they can also push the wheels out closer to the body and therefore get more stability.
watts is the shiat!
BBT Fab always has some wicked parallel 4-link setups with a watt's link....
We saw one in person at Tex-Mex....

Now thats simple, clean and badass! Its even a cantilever! Thats my dream setup right there, lol!
