ok so im driven my parts mazda today and i hear some sloshing in the cab..i cnat find out were this noise is coming from....later that day its dawned on me it was coming form the rocker...i drill a hole under the rocker and HOLY SHIT it poors the water out..were does this water come form and how does it get there...amazing i tell ya

considering you are in canada then you prolly have a rust hole somewhere letting the snow,rain, and moisture in

its probably a hole behind the fender/kick panel area,or hole in the floor, peel the carpet back in that area and have a look, and u might have to pull the fender off and have a look behind it too

its no big deal to me cuz im gonna strip her for parts for the project...it was funny and had to post it on here for a good laugh...i lil share of knowledge that is useless yet funny

There should be drain holes all along the rocker. They could have gotten plugged with debris or if you got it undercoated it could have clogged them.

there are 2 holes in the rocker back side that can let water in I had the same problem with one of my mazda's and all I did was buy 2 cans of crown rust control and after I had let the rockers dry out I sprayed them full of the stuff sanded the holes down and patched them and made sure to have 3 small holes along the lowest part of the rocker so water that was in there could drain out plus before winter I could spray more of that crown rust stuff up in there through the small holes worked great and the rockers were mint from then on.
