Max speed?

110 mph and it gets up to 70 pretty quick but after that it takes some time! lol Got a weber and pacesetter. That was with some 215/70/14s though. I have 205/60/15s so the speedo reads faster than what Im doing by about 3 mph. Ya I don't like the revs either but you have to open it up once in a while.

Hit 110 once, fresh rebuilt engine, ported 2.0 head, bored .020 over,header, weber 32/36, 60 series flowaster w/ no cat, RX7 tranny.

I hit 225kmh in my NA '88 RX7 GX. That was fun.

Alsp did 235kmh in my '87 Celica GTS. That thing was quick. Had it 500rpm away from redline in 5th gear!

Well hell if we look at top speed I hit about 165 - 170mph in my 94 Z28. That was a correct speed. I was still about 1200rpm from redline. She wasn't fully stock
That was fun but probably the craziest thing in a vehicle I have ever done. It was on I44 between Tulsa, OK an Joplin, MO at about 12am at night.

173mph on my '04 cbr600rr in 6th gear & still had 2k to the 15k redline to go, just ran out of straight road, it was still pulling like a mofo, but i think they are limited to 178 from the factory....that fast on 2 wheels & it will make your butt puckerup so tight you couldn't drive a spike in it with a jackhammer!

as far as the maz, @ 112mph going down hill with a strong tail wind pushing me, and yeah the engine was screaming!!

I'd like to swap one of the low 5th geared rx-trannys (.758 or.711) in and see what it will do with the rx's 4.07 rear gears, then swap the gears out in the rx rear for a set of early 80's 626 3.63 gears.....with the 245/40-18's that I'll be running the speedo ought to be pretty close to factory.

155-160 in an LS2 GTO switchin lanes between cars. That thing gripped the road.

I have had the v8 truck up to about 130mph, although i have had my stang up to 162 with the 2.73 rear before it decided to let loose, but i have had my 2004 yamaha r6 raven up to 178mph.... Thats why we drive mazdas but "speed kills drive a dawg"=)

158 in the vette, 160 on tha regular on the kawie...and about 90 in the dawg....

well i thought we was talkin about our mazdas. ive been up to 160 in my old talon.
