has anybody done this if so can i see your pic of it becouse i had to drop the hinge down 1 1/2 so the hood would shut all the way down and i dont like the way it is post pic if ya got them thanks

whered you get your set up from? check out my post reverse tilt hood. toddluck set up a link to a how to, but the pics are pretty much less than what you have shown. im waiting till spring, maybe, then im doing mine. got mine off a ? buick lesabre.

how does the bracket clear the wheel wells?? im really thinkin in doing this but first i want to know what kinda clearence there is for the wheel wells.

one way to do it is to bolt to the inner flange of the fender wall

i live in lincolnton nc.
i got my brackit from pull a parts 10 bucks
and as far as it goes down is to the top of the water jug for the wipers took about 30 mins to do but am not happy with it going to work on it some more this weekend and were is the link you are talking about

Best I can do for ya. Look carefully at hour your hinge setup mounts to the fender area. I modified mine quite a bit - actually swapped the bases side to side and welded the "stop" in a new location so that the hood is at an angle when open and not straight up and down and resting on the bumper.

As for tire clearance, you would have to be in the 20-22" rim range before clearance might be an issue.
