Hey everyone,
I know someone has had to have used one so i am just wondering, how good are these things? i was looking at getting one just to do some painting, wood cutting and such in seeing as i dont have a garage, was just wondering if they are sturdy and if they rip easy and how hard it is to have one caught in the wind and fly away, i dont want to have to put it up all the time so it needs to be able to stay on the ground most of the year, i understand snow could make it collapse but i can clean snow off of it no big deal. any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks,
i had on eit lasted about a year b4 the tarp went to crap...i did work good
so they are decent? i dont want it for anything major but i dont have anything but a shed (filled with parts right now), a driveway and a crappy basement
I think they are decent. I know friends that have used them, and the major problem like what was stated, is that the tarp rots away, but I suppose you can replace it.
i have one, it works awesome, it's not a cheapy one tho, it more of a premium setup lol.......... make sure you bolt it down for wind storms, and don't let much snow pile up on the top.
bolt it down to what? its going to have to be held down some how because our driveway is right next to the rail road tracks.....
oh yeah, i built mine up with garden ties that are rebared deep into the ground...then bolted it to that. i guess if you are on concrete you could use cement bolts and an epoxy or something?
This is what im in. 10'X10'X20' $160 at costco...
Painting cars/trucks may be a challenge, but its nice to store a vehicle in and work on, esp. if you have weather like us -> snow, wind, colder wind, snow........ but I hope that helps a little
OH! we had some 60+ mph winds a few days ago, and it moved it around a little but it definatle stayed on the ground...
thanks guys, im looking for one just like that actually. just need to make sure its not going to be a waste of $400.... also im on gravel kinda like that
