^ I can definately agree with you. Where I work I tow 2-3 different trailers every week. Most are 16' enclosed trailers with not to much weght. The F150 does just fine. The only time I get in trouble is with the larger enclosed trailers (18'-20' enclosed that have been overloaded with equipment or waste). Pulling 8,000 to 10,000 pounds with an F150 can be a little scary. A 3,000 pound Mazda on a 1,000 pound trailer is no big deal and as you stated can be done comfotably with a 4.6

oh no i know that the 4.6 will pull it fine i was just mentioning the size of the truck going on weight ratio that the dmv will be bringing up.

i wasn't arguing with anything you said bro. i didn't even read your post. haha, i was just saying how to many people buy trucks that are bigger than they will ever use or buy a 4x4 jack it way up and put some real nice wheels with street tires on it. that may just be around here but i find it funny. my f150 gets about 21 mpg on the hwy and about 16 in town and i can pull anything that i need to just fine. hell, i use to pull my mazdas with my 3.0 ford escape. it kind of struggled but it did the job.

those fags live around here too!
i've got an 04 ranger 4x4 with the 4L V6 and i've pulled the mazda a few times on a big ass ALL Steel super tilt-o-matic over the top heavy trailer. with no brakes i might add. i probably won't do that again, maybe if i had a smaller lighter trailer with a brake controller in the cab of my truck. i'd just rather have a fullsize to pull a car/truck. the ranger will pull the hell outta my dirtbike and banshee in a 5x10 trailer tho!

95 - 98 Chev / Gmc fullsize with the 4.3 will be enough to tow the B. The fullsize with a 4.3 get better mileage then the S-10 with the 4.3. Don't ask me why but it is just that way. we have had the fullsize with the 4.3 and it towes what ever I put behind it and also ran a 500 gallon water tank.

If you do go with the S-10, I would recommend a weight distributing hitch with the sway attachment. It may seem a little expensive, but it can definately turn a white nuckle experience into a cruze control and one hand on the wheel trip. Also, definately invest in a brake controller!!!!!

Will do thanks fellas, I appreciate all the input. I just knew I should investigate all of this before just jumping into this.
