Lets say I have a 5 lug swap, re-drilled hubs in the front and a 89-95 yota axle in the rear.
Would you think that a set of 20" X 8.5" with an offset of +35mm wheels would tuck on 4wd sheet metal?
Thanks...
Dev
from what understand you need atleast +35mm with 8" wheel so it sounds like its gonna be a no. someone with more wheel experience could better help you though

I know more about the offsets in inches and the eskies I have have a 6 1/4 backspacing and when machined out they will tuck really nice. so what would + 35mm offset be in inches.
Well...
25.4mm = 1inch
Offset = (35mm)/(25.4mm/in) = 1.378 in
1/2 Wheel Width = (.5)*(8.5 in) = 4.25 in
BS = (4.25 in) + (1.378 in) = 5.628 inches
5.628 Inches would be the backspacing

It would be close would have to make sure the rubber you are putting on the rims don't ballon at all and you would have to roll the fender lip.
Even with the shorter Yota Axle do you think I would have this problem?
Dev
even if it tucks behind the fender lip. dont forget about once its layed out. if it barely clears the lip its gonna chew some tires up when layed out.
