Ortiz is a soldier, if it wasnt for the thumb to the eye he would have wipped lidells ass. Look at the losses he had,
Guy mezner yea after he fought Wes Albritton and beat him in 30 sec this was the proir fights before the UFC event starts. they asked him to come back out and fight because the other fighter was hurt. yea he was submitted but look at guy's record and ring exsperience, this was tito's first UFC fight againts a real fighter.
Frank shamrock, then six fights won proir to loosing to Couture, not realy a surprise there, then lidell. But look at the opponets he has beaten,
Fought guy mezner again beat him, Wanderlei Silva,Evan Tanner,Vitor Belfort,Forrest Griffin..just to name a few.
Now Lidell, losses in the ufc include Jeremy Horn, Randy Couture. But look at who he has wins againts no were close to the people ortiz has wins againts the best fighters he has wins againt are Randy Couture,and of course ortiz (by a thumb to the eye), ow and jeff munson when he dropped weight to fight in the lower class.
Lidell does not even have the wins Ortiz has, the only thing he has over Ortiz is the Randy Couture comparision were ortiz loss 1 and lidell loss 1 but has 2 wins.
Lidell is done if Ortiz gets him down, problem is he has to get in on Lidell wich is definitly difficult and dangerous, Lidell has the ability to take him out, but Lidells only gone over round 2, 5 time, and 4 of them we round three and 1 round 4. Ortiz on the other hand has gone 4 round 3's and 2 round 5's, I have to wounder if Lidell can have the steam to go 4 or 5 rounds with Ortiz. Hell Ortiz went 5 rounds with couture, and lost in a unanimos decision.
My point is if Tito stays out of the way of lidells power punches and doesnt spend to much time toe to toe, lidells done for, if it goes to the ground its over, but he has to get lidell there. The only way to do that is to walk into the fire.

i agree, if you ever watch how tito trains for his fights it is awesome. i think that he has the best routine ever. i can't wait to see the fight and i think tito is going to beat him in the 4th round. i think liddell will run out of juice by then.

Ortiz is an awesome fighter,there is no doubt....I WANT to like him,but I can't stand the guy. He has such an in your face stuck up attitude that I can't stand. Makes me just want to give him a shot,but I know I'd probably walk away from that breathing out my left ear and talking out of my left eye.

Tito is a showman,just like Matt Hughes,and some others he wants to hype the fight,I think it will be a good fight,The longer the fight goes the better for Tito.Im also curious to see how Andrie Arlovski does in his come back fight.
