I had a question about how to determine where to weld the bag plates in the front of our trucks. Where i have it now , when i am fully air up i am barely clearing the fender. I am running drop spindles, with chevy z71 rims with 195/55/16 tires, with mt frome on the ground my bag are not near being compressed, i may have some pics.

So ypu think that i do not need to reposition the plate it is pretty much at the top of the frame, i was also thinking about cups, but the setup right no tops out because of the upper arm...

The position of the plates looks ok. If your planning on sticking with the 16s forever you could move the top plate down to gain some lift. I would try changing the spindles first and see how much that helps since thats easier than moving the plates. What bags are those?
