My theory!

I was wondering! Its been 2 months now since I went to the dreaded Altons for bearings and seals on my rear axles.
Well, when I pulled my wheels off, I found this!
Best I could do... This is looking at the bottom of the backing plate...
What does it look like to you?
The passenger side leaks slightly and the backing plate with the hub is off center just like this side.
I'm not sure if it is supposed to be off-center like that, but do you think it would be enough to cause a vibration or noise?
If its Altons fault for this, I'm going back and raising hell!

Yes, it smells like the horrible smell of gear lube that it is!
I guess I'll have to say screw it.... When my rear locks up, I'll do something.
No one seems to have any ideas... I'm fresh out besides seeing if it just needs tightened to recompress the shims, maybe...
