the little bastard is finally going to get a fresh motor. i just sent a lot of parts off to get machined and painted hopefully will be done in a month or so.anyone ever tried bar-b-q grill paint for painting the exhaust manifold.

my understanding is none of that paint on stuff really works. i've never tried it all, but that's kinda the general feeling i get from people. i just got mine ceramic coated inside andout for $80. i thought that was a good price.

ya that sounds like a fair price, where do you have to go to get that done? i have already had my parts soda blasted and now they are at the machine shop getting hot tanked and checked. i painted my valve cover today and i bought some new mack brushes so i hope to get it striped tommorow. i will try to post pics.i thought of the grill paint the other night because i have never had header paint that didn't end up burning off.

i had it done at a custom exhaust place called Rewarder Header in Camarillo CA.

allot of powdercoaters can doo it also

got my valve cover painted now waiting on therest of the parts to get back.
