What does Sundowner mean?

I know Mazda pasted "Sundowner" on some of the 1st gen B2000s but what does it mean? Did the long bed or standard bed carry the logo, or did both? I believe my truck is the standard/short bed. Anyone know?

I had an 81 Sundowner.I believe that they all ahd buckets, a nicer trim package , and a real pretty full rocker vinyl applique that had a western motif and said "Sundowner".Beyond that I dont know.Mine was dark gray,short bed.BJ

my 84 is a sundowner and it has a bench seat. i really don't know what it means though. but like hocbj23 said i think that it is just a package thing.
