What's the bore measurement? I'm pickin up some Z71's this weekend. And about the lug nuts... I just need to tell the guy at the rim shop that I need bulge style lug nuts or what?

yeah you need some big lug nuts, since the wheels are LUG CENTRIC, meaning the lug centers the wheel, it is very important that you get the bulge.

The 16s I've got have a centre bore of 3 3/8". On I think it needs to be bored out close to 4". Just go out and measure how big your hubs are and then transfer that measurement to your rims and then you'll figure out how much they need to get bored.

I was in now way going to trust grinding the tabs off. Mine are machined out and if I were to do it over again I would do the same. My standard cab is the one they are on and I drive it daily. I am considering getting some chevy 17's and boring them out as well, guess I will wait untill the tires wear out on these first.

Yeah, well unlike you and I,most people are too cheap to bother doing things right because everything needs to be done yesterday.

I have 225/45/16's on mine. That is as close to the overal diameter of your stock 14's to keep the speedometer correct.

I ran 205/40/17s on my Eskies as well as 205/50/17. The 50 series is closer to stock, but the 40 series, looks, rides and handles way better,as well as sits lower.
