One other tip u might try.Get a dryer sheet that softens ur clothes when being dried and wipe ur seat covers down real good with it. It may take some of the static electricity out.My Volvo has T-Tech upholstery and it was shocking the poo out of me.I tried the dryer sheet and it worked.I doit about every 30 days in cold,dry weather.BJ

I never realized thats why I was geting a shock, I assumed it was static build up from speed when I was driving my 323 but when it started happening on the B I knew it couldn't be from speed....

i get zapped all the time in my car, static strip didn't work, the rubber one or the magnetic wire one.
