I don't know of anything wrong with the fuel system but I don't drive the truck all winter and I thought I might need to put something in the tank. I had never even heard of Seafoam until I read some posts on this forum. I think I'll just stick with a bottle of gas treatment every 3rd or 4th fill-up. My brother starts the truck and lets it warm up every week or so, but he doesn't drive it. I also put a bottle of Slick 50 for high-mileage engines in the oil. A service writer at the dealer where I bought my car recommended it for my car which sits in the garage all summer. Anyone ever use it?
lmao! the first time & only time i ever went to tunica, i went with a couple of guys i was working with at the time......well after about 12 hours & 12 gallons of margarita's in the oxygen rich environment, one of them stops at the front desk & asks if they could page one of our friends, a girl that had gotten seperated from us...the lady said sure, what's her name, he says annitafix...haha i-need-a-fix...lol! needless to say we were on the way out!
I swear by Seafoam not at it,but u do have to remember it is a fuel system and engine cleaner and it does its job very well.I have never had an issue with it and my fuel tank, but I can see if u had lots of crap in the tank it would loosen it up and may clog the "sock"that is the primary tank fuel filter.BJ
if you are just looking for something to put in the tank while you " store " the truck over the winter, get the tank down low, 1/4 tank or so, then go to the auto parts store and get some stuff called stabil, its red in a clear bottle, that is what i use in my vehicles if they are going to be sitting for an extended period of time
hope that helps

Thanks, Jason.
I will definitely check it out. Do you know why the tank needs to be so low?
I am under he impression that a low tank allows water vapor to condense in the tank.
