Does anyone know the Max Width of Rim we can fit on your truck without Rubbing on the inside (frame), and still being able to Tuck, 17X?? 18x?? 20x?? Time for new Rims, My Eskies Are up for sale soon.

i've got 17x7.5 right now, upgrading to 18x7.5? or 18x8? 20x7.5? 20x8? im not sure how much clearance i'll have...or what will fit.

I was just gonna post the same thing, its a matter of backspace right?
shortening the rear end is too much hassle for me. Any good tire guy should know what ya can squeeze in there, and do'nt take no guff from some old fogie behind the counter sayin you are crazy!

im assuming you are mainly concerned about the rear.
i have a 7 inch wide wheel. the actual width of the tire/wheel is actually around 8inches. the tire is about 3/16th of an inch from the outer fender and about 2inches from the frame. so the most i would go with is an 8inch wide wheel and shorten the rear end so the wheel tucks more and you still have room to breathe inside beside the framerail.
on the front though, i would not go more than an 8inch wide wheel. it's a given that the once you get into the bigger wheels like 19's/20's, that the tire will rub on the frame somewhat unless you install steering stops. but the width of the wheel matters too.
so for the front it's a trick question. because an 18x7 may fit and turn lock to lock. but a 17x10 sure as hell would be useless in the front of a mazda.
so just think of the two things as inversely proportional. the bigger the wheel you get, the skinnier the wheel should be and you'll minimize your turning radius loss. and no matter what, you're probably going to scrub something lol. if you dont, more power to you

Im thinkin 20"x8 or 20"x8.5max....Any rubbing issues? Rear frame rails or Front?

You will have to cut lots of stuff up front for theto tuck or lay frame. The back wont be that hard just gatta get the right offset.

both those sizes you will have to relocated your clutch master cylinder if it's a 5spd and move your brake booster for the front.
the rear, the 8.5 wide wheel should be fine for the rear. you have to find the correct offset for the back like schreff says. good luck finding a 20inch 6lug 8.5inch wide wheel to tuck in the back though, without getting it custom cut.
