MAN I would hate to see a rusty one from your area then. lol I am thinking that my 89 cab plus must have came from ontario with al the rust in the bed and back of the cab.

Everything rusts IF you let it! oh it sucks! yes it does!

I have ABS? Thats what my brother said too lol.

I weld.... I like... We will see though, welding rusted stuff sucks.

I concur. I had to weld a patch for my frame. I was tough finding something solid enough to weld to.

Saturday Aug. 12, 2006!

Ok, today I started the long and tretcherous (sp?) quest of body work.

I started out by sand blasting every SPEC of rust off my box. That took a VERY long time. I said there was no rust but I wasn't counting the miniscule surface rust. But I had to remove it. Anyways, after that was done I roughed it up a bit and started with the filler. (I had already pounded out the dents pretty good.)

Here are some pics of my work today. They aren't very good quality cause it was dark outside. (The sanding is not done so yues, there is alot on there right now. Won't be as much when I'm done.)



Notice how all the rusty has been sandblasted out..

Ok a little more today..

I got pretty much all the body work done on the bed... I still have to replace the roll pan when I ever get it....

Here are some pics:





A pic of some of the areas I fixed on the cab, with a quick coat of etch primer.


The repairs with etch primer, I just misted it over the areas that weren't metal so it will be easier to sand and fill later.
