Oasis compressor

I finally got my Oasis compressor today. This thing is fuckin huge.. i cant wait to get my truck bagged........

make sure you got enough power/battery alternator wise to pull that thing

What alternator can we swap out in our trucks for it to bolt right up? My buddy has a 2000 S10 with a 4.3L and he swapped it out his Alternator for a 5.7L Alt, it bolted right up and has much more power...

Good luck getting anything to bolt right up, im running a 100amp gm 1 wire with dual batterys but im going to be going to a 200amp. Stock mazda alternators are like 50 something amps i think, Just FABRICATE something and make it work man!

i never thought to much about my alternator but im sure i can figure something out.....if not im sure someone on the site can help me out with some ideas..

good luck bro, my buddy had a toyota almost same alternator as ours, and 2 red tops hooked up to his oasis as soon as it kicked on the battery light came on and the truck shut off cause the alternator couldnt keep up

Yea they use ALOT of juice! U'll deff need to get a way better alternator then the stock mazda one...

yeah, I believe they pull almost 136 amps when there on. The stats are on Suicidedoors.com

Sorry to get off topic somewhat, im sure you'll want this information too for that huge ass Compressor but what kinda Alternator could i go with? 5.7L alt? or 8.1L? what kinda Alternator would be best? and highest amperage, both at Idle, and Peak...Thanks
