Has anyone done a halogen headlight conversion?

Has anyone done converted their normal headlights to halogens with those conversion kits found on ebay? I'm specifically interested in teh 1987-1993 years.

Was it worth it? Do you see better at night? How do your new headlights affect oncoming traffic?

I have an H4 Hella kit...
It is awesome, like night and day in lighting, wouldnt wanna go back at all

How do you guys afford this stuff? I know there is a company that makes awesome bulbs and lenses and its equally as bright.. but costs like 160.. i will remember the brands soon.

Hey, I looked into this a little bit on the web. Sounds like there is a lot of scams out there and a lot of illegal kits.

You guys say you have Hella H4 kits, well if you go to Hella's website they have a page dedicated as to why THEY DO NOT MAKE THE KITS. They also go on to WARN ABOUT THE DANGERS AND LEGALITIES OF SUCH KITS.

Can you guys give me any links as to what you used? I'll have to find that Hella website link again.

just thought I would let you know that I have a H4 conversion kit on mine with apc bulbs, big difference!!! I got the kit from Autozone for $40. AND it even has a D.O.T. number on it! Legal baby!!!!
