need some tips

Hello all Im from wi and this is my third mazda b2200.Im calling it the Clean Rat. It will have a 50's rat rod feel. it will be my first mazda body drop. Im building a new frame from the tranny cross member back(due to rust). i have only had done static drops on the mazdas and one i put bags on. I want to go lower before i do the body drop, is triming the lower control arm safe? any tips would be great thanks!! any easy upper a arm tips would be great also.

some brace the lower some don't. mine isn't braced and I don't have any issues with alignment yet. the metal is fairly thick so your good.
